PROFESSOR MAREK KASPERSKI & TONY BUZAN

Marek and Tony were close friends for many years, and they often travelled to Memory Championships around the world and spent time together in London.

Tony taught Marek every aspect of Mind Mapping, Speed-Reading, and Memory. They often spent hours talking about all things related to intelligence and creativity. The photo below was taken in Tony’s house where he taught Professor Marek Kasperski.

Tony referred to the two of them as “peas in a pod”, as they often thought and said the same thing. When Tony was a guest at Professor Marek’s lecture in Adelaide, he drew a Mind Map, inserting a pod with two smiling peas inside.

The friendship between Tony and Marek gives Marek a unique understanding of how and why Tony developed Mind Maps from its infancy to the Mind Maps we see today. The precious hours spent talking about Mind Mapping with Tony are now available in Marek’s training, something unique and special. GRAND-MASTER TRAINER

Marek teaches worldwide, especially in the Asia Pacific region, and has conducted several training courses in China, Singapore, Switzerland, Mauritius, Israel, Australia, the USA, England, Ireland,

Italy and the Middle East.

In particular, Marek teaches Mind Mapping, Speed Reading, and Memory (TBLI, Advanced Practitioner, Practitioner, and Foundation). Marek teaches on a “one-to-one” basis or to large groups (as many as 5,000 at one time), mainly online at this time.

Marek was appointed Vice President of the Tony Buzan Company in July 2020.

Professor Marek Kasperski has 28 years of experience teaching at Tertiary level.

VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE GUILD OF MIND SPORTS ARBITERS (GOMSA)

Professor Marek Kasperski was appointed Global Chief Arbiter for Mind Mapping and Speed-Reading in 2020. In this role, he supervises all World Championships and ensures the rules governing the championships are transparent and fair to all competitors.

Professor Marek Kasperski is also the Vice-President of GOMSA.

WORLD MIND SPORT COUNCIL

In 2024, Marek was appointed as the President of the prestigious World Mind Sports Council.

SPORT – FENCING

Professor Marek is also the South Australian 2020 State Champion (open category) in Sabre Fencing and the 2021 and 2022 State Champion in the Veteran category of Sabre Fencing (far right). In 2023, Marek won 1 silver and 3 gold medals at the Australian Masters Games (near right).
